  1. Many Korean fusions restaurant is all around in Brooklyn to Queens to Manhattan. I would recommend few high rated reviews restaurants. "Talde" in Park Slope, Brooklyn, "Danji" in Hell's Kitchen, Manhattan. For other options, there is area called "Koreatown" in Midtown Manhattan in New York City, centered on West 32nd Street between Fifth Avenue and the intersection of Sixth Avenue and Broadway. There are lots of Korean cuisines and bars near Koreatown.

  4. Hallyu, from my understanding, is just another way of Korean entertainment corps selling their "left over contents" to some South East Asian countries. Korean medias constantly fantasize how big the Hallyu is in other nations but to be honest, as Korean, I personally do not see Hallyu as something I am proud of. Korea should focus more on raising an awareness of some diplomatic issues, such as comfort women or Dokdo with Japan rather than just selling some stupid Korean reality TV shows to just make some money.

  5. I think Hanllyu, especially Korean drama, is becoming more wider and popular because they get the exact concept of what viewers want and improved a lot from being cliche-y and obvious. I believe recent dramas like 'Signal' and 'Reply 1988' created big hit since the stories in the episodes were something that viewers can actually relate to in their lives.

  6. Hallyu, in my understanding, it refers in particular to Korean drama and stars. In China, only girls watch Korean drama, so there is a slogan, "A new Korean drama, a new boyfriend." For example, right now "Descendants of the Sun" should be the hottest Korean drama in China. Therefore, Song Joong-ki becomes every girls' boyfriend, and last one I think is Do Min Joon xi. It cannot be denied that the ideas of every Korean drama is very special.

  7. Hallyu is quite powerful because it is a culture that enters into our daily life. I am especially more interested in the specific qualities of value or emotion that buys worldwide empathy and popularity. What would be the inner qualities?
